My name is M. Desean Britton, and I am the founder of A Better Way Prison Consulting and Coaching LLC. Despite holding multiple degrees, I experienced firsthand how education alone doesn’t always prevent injustice. I served several years in prison for a crime I did not commit. I bring to this company both academic knowledge and real-life experience within the criminal justice system. My mission is to inform and empower others by shedding light on the realities of our legal system, the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Inmate Advocate & Paralegal
Mitzi Magleby has been a dedicated inmate advocate for over 10 years, passionately fighting for the constitutional rights of incarcerated individuals. With more than 30 years of experience as a paralegal, she also lobbies for new legislation and works tirelessly on behalf of death row inmates. Prison advocacy is not just her work, it is her lifelong passion.
